A duo.
Two things that complement each other while maintaining their identity.
Interact, intertwine, celebrate their union.
Sometimes they conflict. Tension can create interest. Show hidden facets.
I'm talking about duo-tangle, of course ...
This week challenge is about a duo-tangle, so duo-tangle it is.
Two patterns. One which I like a lot, one which I like a little. Very little.
Here is what came from under the pen
Your pen did a wonderful job, Omer. It's very oroginal and creative.
ReplyDeletenicely done - hard to tell which one you like and which one you don't. very creative
ReplyDeleteYou are right. I had my challenges with the "diva dance", but after this drawing I think we may be closer friends in the future. Also, when looking at the other works, the variations and possibilities of this pattern are simply amazing. Of course the challenge is within me, and has nothing to do with the pattern ...
Deletethis is nice. the words that you give us with each entry are so touching, really. And true. Interacting without taking away from each other.
ReplyDeleteI like how your phicops reverses as it overlaps. Well done
Thank you for your kind words
DeleteWonderful Tile, Omer. Your Phi Cops remind me of canoes. Love the insert panels of River Dance.
ReplyDeleteThanks David, and spot on ! On one of my sketches, a canoe emerged, and it became an inspiration for this drawing. So did the "panel" :)
DeleteI love to use Diva Dance when I want to imply wood. I think it is a very versatile filler tangle and it works perfectly here in your duotangle. Very interesting composition and well done.
ReplyDeleteI like the double sided phicops...can't wAit to use that tangle again!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you connected the 2 patterns into 1. It makes them stronger in a beautiful way.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful crisp clean workmanship!
