I don't have much of an update on the "situation", so I'll stick to the artistic side of things.
Current challenge calls for a duo of two patterns, based on letters from my name. I chose Onamato and Mumsy, and tried to create a duo out of them. I wanted them to interact with eachother in the drawing. Here is what I've got
And with some color
And finally, something that came from under the pen, "one line at a time".
It's always nice to see your name pop up in the challenge list. Glad you are okay even if you are still dealing with such horrors. Back to your beautiful pieces though and all are so lovely. The first one reminds me of a basket with the handle and some pretty vines in it. The other two are very playful. Hugs :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words Jean.
DeleteI only saw the "basket" after you mentioned it. When I was drawing it was just a pattern being drawn ...
Really like the first one!
ReplyDeletevey nice tiles .. I like how mumsy is coming out of a basket of ornamato. the coloured tiles are quite vibrant and lovely
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your unique style. Fantastic work.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely pieces! Very playful!
ReplyDeleteI love them!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Tiles, Omer. All of them so well done, and creative. The third one really grabbed me. I love the whimsy of this Tile. Outstanding. (Hang in there.)
ReplyDeleteThree beautiful tiles Omer! I love the second one!!! Take care now!
ReplyDeleteInteresting tiles
ReplyDeleteThese tiles are all beautiful, the third one is my favorite. Let's hope and pray that there will be more wisdom on both sides and that they start talking in stead of fighting. Ghandi was a wise man .....
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne. Indeed, I've been thinking about Ghandi recently.
DeleteOmer, so nice to see you!!!! Your tiles are always done with a distinct style of your own. Which I love! The third one is my favorite! It looks as though it is telling a story!! Wishing you well and encouragement and hope ((((hugs)))) :0) Share Humanity
ReplyDeleteI saw the "story" of the third tile only when I finished it. It is absolutely amazing how the sub-conscious can draw it's own stories if I let go.
DeleteThank you for your kind words
I really like all three of these in their different ways. You certainly have "the eye" for form and colour. I then went back to some older posts on your blog and found myself with involuntary tears in my eyes. I wish I could offer you more than empty words but please believe my heart goes out to you. Be safe.
ReplyDeleteThank you Maggibee. These are not empty words to me. I feel they come from the heart, and they touch me heart
DeleteGreat tiles. Are you familiar with the tangle Antidots? Your Mumsy looks a lot like that tangle. I would not have though of using Onomato as a basket. Yours works well to bet them to interact.
ReplyDeleteThanks Donald. You are absolutely right - Antidots it is :)
DeleteI was just flowing with Mumsy, and was not familiar with this variation.
I would have liked to say "great minds think alike" only I'm but a gosling in drawing, doing my first baby steps ...
